Replacement of failing upper crowns with new porcelain crowns, combined with composite bonding on the remaining front teeth.
A young female patient (31-year old at the time) presented to us concerned of the poor aesthetics of her crowns. After thorough examination and discussion of the available treatment options she opted to have her crowns replaced with new porcelain ones and improve the appearance of the other front teeth with the help of composite bonding. On the first stage of treatment the old crows were removed, preparations modified and new crowns delivered. On the second stage, the remaining upper left canine and the lower anterior teeth underwent composite bonding. The lady was very pleased with the final result as well as the minimally invasive approach for the restoration of the other (non crowned) front teeth.

Implant retained lower denture on severely atrophic lower jaw
A 76-year-old female patient presented with concerns about her lower denture, describing it as "very loose" and unstable despite using substantial amounts of denture adhesive. On examination, it was noted that significant atrophy of the lower jaw was the primary cause of the instability. After discussing treatment options, it was decided to secure the denture with the aid of implants. Those were splinted due to their shorter size. Following the procedure, the lady regained her freedom to eat, talk and laugh freely without being anxious that her denture would dislodge!

Improving aesthetics in a minimally invasive way through a single porcelain veneer and composite bonding
A middle-aged woman consulted with us to explore options for correcting the alignment of her crowded upper front teeth. She sought a minimally invasive approach and preferred to avoid orthodontic treatment. After careful consideration, we decided to "align" the palatally positioned right lateral incisor with a porcelain veneer, while using composite bonding on the remaining front teeth. The outcome was both aesthetically pleasing and achieved her desired result.

Direct composite restoration of significantly worn upper and lower centrals together with bite raise through the Dahl approach.
A middle-aged man came to us seeking restoration of his severely worn upper and lower front teeth, caused by grinding and erosion. After a thorough examination, it was determined that the teeth could only be restored by raising his bite. Following a discussion of the available options, he opted for direct composite restorations while increasing the Occlusal Vertical Dimension using the Dahl approach. To ensure long-lasting results, we provided a protective night guard to be worn during sleep.

Minimally invasive implant restoration
A middle aged gentleman was concerned that he was missing his lower left back teeth. After discussing various options it was decided to proceed with implant retained crowns. Since the patient was quite anxious about the procedure, the implants were placed in a minimally invasive (flapless/bloodless) approach with the help of a 3D guide using BioHorizons implants. The whole procedure was finished within 2 months.

Preservation (through hemisection) of a cracked and failing upper molar
A middle-aged woman presented with pain in her upper left first molar. On examination, the tooth had a well executed root canal treatment (including on MB2), but had developed pain on pressure and had a discharging buccal fistula. On further examination it was diagnosed with a root fracture (in-between the buccal roots). As the patient was keen to preserve the tooth it was decided to section and remove the affected roots and keep the palatal one for further restoration. The tooth was later restored with a reduced-size zirconia crown providing a durable and aesthetic solution.

Restoration of missing lower teeth with the help of a chrome denture
The patient came to us seeking a solution for her missing lower left teeth. After a comprehensive examination and a detailed discussion of various treatment options, she chose to proceed with a chrome denture. Chrome dentures are reknown for their excellent fit, minimal bulk compared to other types of dentures, and ability to ensure stable chewing. By the end of her treatment, the patient expressed great satisfaction with the result.

Restoring a severely worn upper teeth with zirconia crowns
A 60-year-old woman presented with concerns about significant wear on her upper teeth. Upon examination, the teeth were found to have advanced wear from both attrition and erosion. After discussing several treatment options, the patient chose to restore her teeth with zirconia crowns. She was pleased with the result.

An unusual approach for restoration of a failed upper premolar
A young woman came to us with recurring pain and swelling around her upper premolar. Upon further investigation, we discovered that the tooth had previously undergone both root canal retreatments and apical surgery, but neither had been successful. The challenge was that the patient did not want a gap after extraction, was not a candidate for an immediate implant due to ongoing inflammation, and preferred not to wear a denture or have her adjacent teeth prepared for a traditional crown-retained bridge. Given that the neighboring teeth already had restorations, we decided to extract the problematic tooth and restore the gap with a long-term temporary or potentially permanent composite bridge, supported by C&B glass fiber. Several years later, the bridge remains in excellent condition.

Restoration of lower missing teeth with flexible denture
A woman in her early 70's visited us urgently, seeking a quick solution to restore her missing lower teeth before her upcoming holiday abroad. After discussing several treatment options, we decided on a flexible denture to address her needs. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of our dental laboratory technicians, the denture was completed within a week. The result was satisfactory, and the patient was able to enjoy her holiday with confidence!

Permanent silanization of a child molar
One of the most effective ways to protect children's teeth—alongside promoting a healthy diet and consistent oral hygiene habits—is sealing the chewing surfaces of their molars. These occlusal surfaces are where more than 50% of cavities develop. When performed correctly, sealants provide a strong barrier, preventing the formation of decay in these vulnerable areas. Below is an example of permanent sealing a child’s lower right molar using composite (G-ænial Universal Injectable GC) for long-lasting protection.

Smile enhancement after tooth migration (due to advance periodontal disease)
A woman in her late 30s came to us concerned about significant shifting of her front teeth. A comprehensive examination revealed that advanced periodontal disease was the underlying cause. Following successful periodontal treatment and resolution of the inflammation, we enhanced the appearance of her teeth using simple bonding techniques, respecting her decision to decline orthodontic treatment. The outcome was satisfactory, and she was happy with her renewed smile.

Saving a "hopeless" tooth
A woman in her mid-30s visited us for a second opinion regarding a persistent low-grade ache and swelling around a tooth that had been deemed hopeless. Upon examination, a periapical lesion was observed, along with evidence of a suboptimal root canal treatment. The pre-op X-ray also suggested the presence of an untreated second canal. After a brief discussion, we decided to proceed with root canal re-treatment. During the procedure, a second canal was indeed located and after completion of the treatment the inflammation-related symptoms resolved within a few days. Due to the initially uncertain prognosis, a direct composite build-up was performed. Several years later, the tooth remains healthy and stable.

Restoring a fractured tooth with pulp inflammation
A woman came to us suffering from acute, nearly constant pain following a tooth fracture. Upon examination, multiple fracture lines were evident, likely extending to the pulp, as indicated by her symptoms. We performed a successful root canal treatment and restored the tooth with a zirconia crown, returning it to optimal function and health. Needles to say, the patient was grateful and happy with the outcome :).
